Mommy & Me at Uptown Dance Collective is a joyful first movement class for children from newborns to toddlers and their grown-up.
Through music, songs, props, and playful dance games, little ones build coordination, rhythm, and body awareness—while staying close to a trusted adult.
Caregivers move right alongside their child as we wiggle, stomp, twirl, and freeze, creating a safe, welcoming first classroom experience. There’s no pressure to perform—just connection, confidence, and fun.
Perfect for toddlers not quite ready to dance solo, Mommy & Me celebrates every stage: shy, curious, wiggly, or wild. Come as you are and enjoy a sweet weekly ritual of movement and togetherness.

UJAM Fitness is a dance party disguised as a workout. Easy-to-follow moves, killer music, and nonstop good energy make this class perfect for all levels. If you can move, you can UJAM. Expect cardio, strength, and lots of laughs.
More than just a workout, U-Jam is a space to release stress, boost your mood, and reconnect with yourself through movement. Our classes encourage self-expression, confidence, and joy—no pressure, no perfection required.

Heels Dance Class with Josefina
Step into your power with Heels Dance — Uptown Dance Collective’s bold, empowering class designed to help dancers build confidence, strength, and undeniable stage presence. This class blends technique, musicality, and performance-focused choreography in a supportive environment where you can explore your movement, express your personality, and feel completely unstoppable.
Heels is more than just “dancing in heels.” Each class focuses on foundational skills like posture, balance, core strength, control, and clean transitions, helping you move with intention and confidence whether you’re brand new or already experienced.

Mindful Mornings with Rain
Slow down, stretch out, and reconnect with your body in this grounding Hatha Yoga class. Through a series of gentle postures, mindful breathing, and simple alignment techniques, students build strength, flexibility, and balance at a relaxed, steady pace. This class is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a calm, supportive environment to improve mobility, reduce stress, and leave feeling refreshed and centered.
About the teacher- Rain has been a yoga practitioner since the age of 12. She is an active yogi who also teaches meditation, sound bathing and creativity classes. She trained in the Shambhavananda School of Yoga ashram and now endeavors to share her love of movement and mindfulness in her hometown of Pagosa Springs Colorado.

Contemporary Dance Workshop with Xina

Guided by Xina’s unique style, you’ll begin with a warm-up that builds strength, flexibility, and body awareness. From there, you’ll move into across-the-floor progressions and learn expressive choreography that blends technique with storytelling. Expect a mix of floor work, traveling phrases, and opportunities to improvise, allowing you to discover your own movement voice.
This workshop isn’t just about learning steps—it’s about feeling the music, releasing tension, and connecting to yourself and others in a supportive, inspiring environment. Whether you’re looking to refine your skills or simply move and be inspired, this experience will leave you energized, empowered, and creatively fulfilled.
Salsa Series - Levels 1 & 2 with Dali
No partner or experience needed — just bring yourself. Salsa is about connection, confidence, and celebrating the moment, and we’re here to help you fall in love with it at your own pace. You might arrive a little nervous, but you’ll leave smiling, energized, and part of a community that cheers each other on.

Dancers will learn the basics of hip hop movement, rhythm, and coordination in a supportive and upbeat environment. Through games, across-the-floor exercises, and age-appropriate combos, kids build confidence, musicality, and style while making new friends. Miss Vivy's got the moves! This high-energy class is designed just for teens who love K-pop! Learn choreography inspired by your favorite idols while building confidence, coordination, stage presence, and performance skills. Each week, dancers will work on fun combinations set to today’s hottest K-pop hits, with a focus on sharp movements, musicality, style, and expression. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to dance, make friends, and shine like a star!
Adult Tap Workshop with Heather
Step into the rhythm and discover the joy of tap! This upbeat class for adults is perfect for beginners and returning dancers alike. Learn classic tap technique, timing, footwork, and fun combinations while building coordination, musicality, and confidence. Whether you’ve always wanted to try tap or are ready to dust off your shoes, you’ll enjoy a welcoming, energetic atmosphere with plenty of laughs and a great workout along the way.

Jazz Funk with Avery is the perfect class for kids under 8 who love to move, groove, and have fun! This upbeat class mixes simple jazz moves with playful hip hop style to help little dancers build confidence, coordination, and creativity. Avery keeps the energy high with kid-friendly music, fun choreography, and lots of encouragement, so every dancer can shine, smile, and show off their own personality.
